Two words run my life: Imagination and Enjoyment. In everything I ever do, I strive to make sure those two principles are somewhere involved. Whether I'm writing a screenplay about a mystical beard that bestows superpowers, or I'm doing something far more mundane like singing Disney songs while working at Best Buy, life is an experience to be lived and enjoyed.

My life started in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Which means "y'all" is a word to me and food will never be spicy enough. I'm expecting to graduate from Louisiana State University in May with my BA in Theatre Technology. Life moved at a thousand miles per minute as I spent four years doing everything creative I possibly could. I've designed lights and sounds for LSU's Lab Season productions, for the Theatre Baton Rouge, and LSU Mainstage productions. I've produced sample radio commercials, written screenplays, even done a music video or two. Anything that provided Imagination and Enjoyment was on my plate.

Over the last two years I've been particularly interested in sound design, with a special interest in cross-media prodctions and cross-discipline work. I was part of a pioneer production of Wedding on the Eiffel Tower which included and utilized a fully interactive Twitter feed that allowed the audience and the actors to communicate throughout the show. I was also half of a partnership developing a one-act version of the fable The Ice Baby. We used, almost exclusively, sound and projections to communicate the story, with actors using physical theatre and spoken word to reinforce the tale. Standing here at the end of it and looking back, I realize those years are where I was doing what I loved most: Making art. I never want to stop doing that.

I feel like life is still going a thousand miles a minute, but I also feel like I can keep up if I can remember who I am and my two words. Therefore I'm Barry Allen, The Flash. I intend to spend the rest of my life telling fantastic stories and meeting extraordinary people, one of which might be you. Therefore I'm Harry Potter.

But I'm not yet Betty White. Because she's well over eighty and can look back on a life fulfilled and laugh. And I can't wait until I get to say: Therefore I'm Betty White. Care to join me?

I've Always Wanted to be Barry Allen. And Harry Potter. And Betty White.
